Why does the president have so little power?

Why isnt the president stronger? He can not do anything, He has no authority. He cant declare war, he cant get away with crime, he cant make laws by himself, he cant decide whats wrong and whats not, he cant give orders to anyone! Why doesn't the president have more power? If i was president I would make everyone bow down to me, Everyone would follow my orders! what I say goes and no one would dare to stand up to me if they want to keep their heads, No american would dare rebell to my regime, I would make AMERICA AN EMPIRE!!! A new world order would commence! I would be on top of the world!! SO tell me why is the president so weak?
