Why do people still use "thees" and "thous", only when praying or reciting something at a wedding...?

I just find it to be pompous. That isn't how thou normally speeketh, so why dost thou speeketh this way when thou dost pray, or when commencing thy ceremony for they neighbor and thy neighbor's wife?
