Powerpoint to pictures?

I have purchaced microsoft powerpoint and want to use it to create pictures that I can save as pictures on my computer but find that when I save them or send them they end up in sky drive when I just want them to be pictures what way do I do this if this makes sence to anyone. Me being a silver surfer please keep it simple if you know. Thankyou
